Default new deposit method on UB

FYI - if you use "usemywallet" ACH method it has been out of service more lately then in service. UB has a new deposit method called "quick deposit" which is similar to ACH in that it withdraws from a checking or savings account you set up. I tried it today and it worked as advertised.

( I do not know what is going on with usemywallet. Their service reps on the other side of the chat line reply with "we dont know" to inquiries about what is causing the problem which does not inspire confidence in a banking related institution.)

Yes it is available to USA and the easiest I have used to date. If you use it I would advise creating a seperate checking account for it just so they do not have access to your primary account and they can not screw it up.

I have used it on AP and UB with my primary bank checking account - it has served me well. My roommate Chris uses it on her account, too - never have had any problems. This 'quick deposit' works just like the "instant" one they used to have. For payouts, the bank transfer works great, too.

You might consider opening alternate accounts for funding poker sites vs allowing them access to your primary account. It just adds one more layer between your primary and them and if they did get into your primary from there with ill intent you would have recourse against your bank for allowing it to occur. I also recommend not keeping any significant money in the alternate account any longer then needed. Similarly I did that with my usemywallet online account leaving only a 1dollar in their account and now that they have essentially frozen up for the last few weeks (no officiial announcement of why) I am glad I did. Unfortunately I think it will be years (if at all) until financial businesses associated with online poker can be considered stable and while I do enjoy playing and do not want to stop because of the instability I do think it is wise to minimize your exposure to them as much as possible and as for as little time as possible when you do have to use them.
