Default Ticked about cashout fees

I typically play near exclusively at UB. I have tried other sites but always come back to UB as I just like their graphics better and also great league play like NDB of course. But I am getting ticked with UB's $8 cashout fee as it is just such an obvious ripoff. Does anyone know the fee's at other sites they could list here? I am willing to start playing more on other sites unless the fee's are the same or worse. Please reply if you have cashed out from other sites and what their cashout fee's are. If this is also an issue with enough folks maybe the forums could start highlighting the more "fee friendly" sites vs the ripoffs and help motivate the sites to drive the fee's down to avoid the bad publicity - what do you think?

Its been awhile since Ive cashed out on PokerStars but the last time I think I payed a $8 fee. Ultimate Bet (cerus) is easiest cashout and by far the fastest payout I usually get my Ub payouts within 5 days, I have waited up to 6 weeks for PokerStars cashouts. The reason I switched to Ub was the ease of cashout.

Brown k11 - fully agree. AP is not only one of the best sites for cashing out (cost and speed) unlike many other sites they do not require you to send a copy of your driver's license, passport photo and either a bank statement or utility bill. They other sites demand this information under the guise of protecting the player's security. They are actually requesting the exact information and documents to effect an identity theft.

I will gladly pay the $8 to use AP's check cashing service.

Default Cash out Fee

I've used the check cash out option at AP twice within the past two months. I think it is reasonable considering the alternative with EwalletXpress, which is 10% of the amount withdrawn. I have heard that FullTilt doesn't charge a fee for a check. I'm sure if you find a better option, you will use it.

Huh? I'm paying 10% fees for eWalletXpress! And it's not at all fast considering how much they charge. But I can't trust companies to deliver checks in a reasonable amount of time anymore.

Its better than the 10% e-walletXpress charges. I use PICCLub at the places that take it. I know there is a lot of contraversy with them an Merge but they have always paid me in a timely manner with no fees for a check. Just got a check 2 days ago.
The Merge/PIC split hurt me because now i cant withdraw using PIC and Merge charges $15 for checks. (I blame Merge for this they need to pay their bills to PICClub)
At FullTilt you can get 1 check for free a month.

I think the cash out fee is RIDICULOUS at Absolute! I was/am a PokerStar player and NEVER did I pay a penny for ANY cashout on PokerStars! In fact, if my cashout was over a $1,000 at PS, they sent it next day FedEx to me?? I fully expected to be charged for the delivery...but they did not charge me a CENT! So?? kudo's to PokerStars! THEY have the best cashout... I pay $5 everytime I cashout on AP! I do get the cheque within 7 days...by mail.. but I pay the "admin" fees there!

I recently decided to close out my account at Reefer, and they charge a $15 fee - plus they asked for all the validation that could be used not only for identity-theft, but to strip my checking account from the Debit card I use. I emailed them and asked if we could find a way to compromise and have me send enough to verify me and my card without the full monty. They responded and said I could black out the middle of the card number - just leave first and last 4 digits - and could black out the special code on the back - as long as I show the back with my signature.

I think the forums could do a service for the community by regularly posting and ranking the cashout fees of the sites as well as the different identity confirmations required. They are valid considerations for choosing a site and the site with the most "player friendly" policies should be rewarded by being highlighted in such lists to the community. You can tell by the large variation in policies just from this post that it is totally arbitrary (like most bank fees). What other things could be listed that make a site more "player friendly": cash-out fees, identity requirements, rake, requirements to redeem bonus dollars, types of promotions, ?????
