Do Computers Have a Mind of Their Own

Today I encountered a bizarre computer experience. I left to do some stuff which I have done many times and rather than going into standby it went into a light blue screen with nothing else on it.

Although this did not look the screen of death, it sure felt like it as I was unable to do anything. When I would kill the power it would go into hibernation without the ability to reboot or boot up. The only option that was provided was a restore.

After killing the power multiple times and pulling the battery with no improvement, I let the thing sit for a half hour and lo and behold it booted right up.

Perhaps the poker lords are trying to send me a message.
