Saturday we went to Mandalay Bay for the Belmont, 3rd leg of the Triple Crown.
While Tim plays the ponies, I play the $50 buy-in, 30 players, pays 4. When we got down to 5, 3 of us were pretty even with mid size stacks, 2 were pretty chipped up. Then seat 10 makes a move against the CL and had to fold with only 3,000 left. Blinds were 800/1600, 200 ante. Then there were 4, weeeeeeeeeee, in the money. 4th paid $116, 3rd paid $174, 2nd $290, 1st paid $580. Seat 4 and I were fairly even in chips. He goes all in against the bb, also the CL. Was only about 4,000 more to call. Of course the CL rivers the winner, and THEN THERE WERE 3. That meant at least an extra $58. So, not being shy, and since blinds are now 1600/3200, I ask if they want to chop. CL is thinking about it. 2nd in chips says he's neutral, means he will. I tell the CL it's okay if he doesn't want to, no problem. He says if he doesn't, it will come back to bite him in the azz. He asks what the 3-way split would be, comes to $348 each. He says okay WEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Pretty good for only 2 hours. ![]() Debby |

I'm pretty sure that's why he agreed to chop. It certainly wasn't because he was afraid of lil ole me ![]() Levels are only 15 minutes, and after 3rd level there's antes, and blinds double every level. Games only last 2 to 2 1/2 hours. They really want these games over fast. Debby Last edited by BAGELBEAR; 06-07-2010 at 11:04 AM. |
