Talking South Point Online Poker

I opened this poker room 3 weeks ago. You can join
for free, but you get a lot of ads, or pay $4.99 a
month & it's ad free. From what I can tell, basically
that is 1 of 2 perks you get, the other being a wider
choice of avatars. Anyway, I qualified for the monthly
$250 girls only tourney which played last nite. To
qualify, you must be in the top 10 of the qualifying
game. Every game is points, no cash games, no deposit
necessary. They're even offering 2 games a day to
qualify for the 2012 WSOP main event. If you win
any of the tourneys, you get to play in the 9 seat
final at South Point to win your $10,000 seat in the
main event. Not bad, and all this is free. Now for
the results of last nite's game. Not too shabby for
a freeroll. Oh, I think I had more suckouts than in
my whole poker career. Tim said he hoped I didn't
use up my quota I chatted how we get our
money and one player said a check for everything
I win is mailed to the address on my account on
the 17th of the following month. I'm keeping my
fingers crossed and will update you when I get it.

That's awesome Bagel I tried the new RISE poker on that same network SouthPoint is using - ZEN. Hated the software, but did some free qualifiers to have a shot at a 10k WSOP seat and a couple other tourneys that were giving away $1500 WSOP seats. No such luck. Also, downloaded CardPlayerPoker, which is another skin of ZEN. Did their monthly 2k game in June. Then gave Rise and CP up.

ZEN Network sucks and they kept asking me to fill out my profile when I logged in. I don't want to pay 4.99 or 19.99 to play poker and then pray they stay in business long enough to payout. I hope you get your $100 cash Nov 17th.

I have done a lot of subscription sites before and they all ended without any warning - SpadeClub, FleetStreetGames, Zosoz and PowerPokerClub. I don't dare waste any more time on the newer subscription sites like Grrrinders.
