Well I gave it my best shot at "team Play".I laid down some big hands for a team mate and did not go after team mates aggressively and also quite obviously to everyone present "dumped" some chips to them in certain situations. Since I finished on the bubble it probably cost me my shot at cashing but I wanted to give it up for the team just this once at least and see how it worked out. The table chat discussing the hand in play just seems to upset members of the other team as I thought it would. However non-verbal or non-chatting communication on the table is pretty iffy. At one point we even chatted explicitly so everyone would be on the same page about communicating non-verbally, or non-chattingly, with a re-raise to a teamate with more chips and that should tell him to just fold and transfer those chips bet so far to the less well off teamate. I then tried that holding AA with an allin re-raise (cant get much clearer then that) expecting him to fold and transfer his relatively small 250 bet so far but no, he calls the allin, holding QQ (hard to let go of the ladies), and loses, and then is left crippled with a short stack, opposite of what was supposed to happen. I think in the absence of clear written rules I will just play thes in the future like most of the others are doing anyway - just go for the cash with your best game and maybe in some extreme cases soft play a little for a desperate teamate - but I also learned to not expect the return favor in this format - lol. It was still fun and I think finishing 10th got 1 pt for the team. Maybe I will get the cash back I missed out on in the freeroll.
