Check out the below link at: http://dreamteampoker.com. Maybe this is another idea to try, or modify, for different tournament formats. Under this format players make up 3man teams. There are cashes for individual performance and for team performance. Low score wins since your score is just where you place. For the team score the highest score is not counted and is just used for tie breakers. So a team with 1st, 5th, and 21st scores 6pts and if another team scored 6pts (2nd and 4th) but their high score was 20th place then they win the tie breaker. It states they take extra measures to insure no team members are on the same table until its impossible near the end and when they are on the same table at the end they are kept seperated as long as possible. Also if you sit down at a table with a team member and do not tell the staff then both team members will be disqualified. So you would have to get UB to manage that somehow. All table play is regular poker rules with the exception that each team (or maybe team member) is allowed a certain amont of time outs per table and during time outs coaching and conferencing is allowed (even encouraged - like other team sports timeouts) away from the table. I am not sure how you would do something equivilent to that online.
