Again...the "yawn" remark is childish...

Again... the remark of 'If I was putting money on the line for people who did not care i would stop" is duly noted... I agree Mug, I would STOP

I have played ALL of the Doyle challenges..probably more than u both.. BUT? what I have attempted to stress...and what i believe has been ignored by u both... is the fact that when I did?...I had to download 2 new sites in order to do so. Now, I don't think that others did that... and I also don't think that by me doing this, made me a BETTER player or a more INVOLVED player...or a player that made me MORE supportive or appreciative....

I will continue to support the Doyle's challenge and play... but..do I think that ALL should have done that? no.... it comes down to players deciding how many sites they want added.. <<even now..I don't want to add more, and because the "extension" is here..i find myself needing to add more $ to Doyle's room...>> I Hate Doyles Room..but, sighs, I did another deposit there to "support" this, and also to increase my chances of winning... That was MY personal choice, not pressured, not because of what you call "an arguement" on here... I have simply tried to express it is my choice... Those that have replied have stated they do not wish to download and deposit on those "extra" sites...

I think for the most part, the players here are looking for fun on the EXISTING sites and the MTT's offered on those sites <AP & UB> and i believe the ACTIVE members have been loyal to these programs...

I am NOT arguing..I am not questioning your comments... i ACTUALLY don't find downloading and depositing to those sites so difficult..but that is "me"..and that doesn't make "ME" right..... if they can not do it...then they can not.. simple. If they chose not to, then leave them be...

I think Jen does an AMAZING job! I think we should all applaude her for her work here... I am NOT arguing... but maybe we need to accept that "Dinner with Doyle" just did not fly... and maybe we need to let it END there... I think based on the lack of attendance...that I actually speak for the majority...

It isn't about "liking to argue".... it is those that chose to say nothing...because they don't wish to "rock the boat"...and heck..I say it.. and get the grief... <<smiles>>... think of how many are not talking mug.. but the lack of participation may be saying exactly what I am saying... and trust me mug; it is not for the sake of arguement.......

I'm in for the rest of the Doyle tourn's... have been for the whole show... so it is not me u need to convince... Jen is amazing, Forum is amazing... but there's no point in kicking a dead horse.. hope the next venture is more successful..and that is the end of it... nothing more for me to say.

yep you're right i'm beating a dead horse by trying to get people geared up to play something....i feel bad in no way by posting any of this and thats where it will stay, i really dont care if its that upsetting to just speak the truth you see one end of it and i see another leave it alone...you're the one dragging this out over and over, and since i knew about the doyles tourneys i've been in every single one of them other than maybe 2 so dont playcate me like that....if people dont want to talk to me because i'm attempting to get people involved here then thats their problem...so you've gotten your little tissy out on the table enough said

I mean no disrespect to anyone but I hope I am allowed to have an oppinion and voice it here with no fear of any personal attack or even a "yawn" implying my oppinion is irrelevent. My thanks to LucyLucy for representing the rest of us who do not make a living playing online poker (I am really stunned at the comment that half the people playing here do - that would be an interesting poll to see how many really do). I signed up for the Doyle's promotion and registerd on their site as I thought that was the only requirement and I played in one maybe two tournies so I did make the minimum effort- can I get any kudos for that? I just dont have the bankroll yet to spread real cash across multiple sites - Im getting there and probably will when I can.

IslandTime I can name at least 10 people we play with at these forum games that play online poker and live poker for a living. It's not my place to tell who they are. I would not make up something like this. As far as a life outside of Poker you will very seldom see me play during the day. Online Poker is my entertainment and I enjoy what I do here at this forum. Again I'm not mad at anyone for their choice again disappointed and do not by any means hold anything against anyone. There will be more promotions like this coming soon but I will do it different so be careful what you say :-)

Thumbs down

my point in this matter has just been completely proved true tonight, and LUCY....i'd love to and will be waiting for your reply here as the civil rights activist of the group....over 170 people showed up for the Doyles freeroll tonight....if you want me to believe that less than half of those people didnt download fulltilt TONIGHT just for the reason of free money i think that you should go back to some type of pipe and smoke it....its a bottom line truth that people are taking advantage of free money and not supporting the people that are bringing it to them...if you cant see that common sense then i dont know whats wrong with you, or wait....and i'm going to piss off A LOT of people with this comment...but everythings free in that socialistic society right? so it should be like that in every aspect of life....heres a piece of advice i've lived by my whole life...NO ONE OWES YOU ANYTHING life isnt free and neither should be playing somewhere like this and coming along for the ride of any point in life...now i'd like to hear the arguement of downloading a poker client and going through the process of putting money towards the forum when so many are willing to download a program and take it.....

good day sir

well mug... here i am...LOL, and I think your post pretty much shows me, and everyone else, that you have some personal vendetta against me....

OK... so be it.. I would venture to guess that most have Full Tilt on their computers...and if they are like me?? they hate it... lol, I actually registered for the freeroll, only BECAUSE it was "free"! had it been a buy in I would NOT have....but? I got busy with work and I never made it to play...

whatever... If it helps? I openly admit you seemingly do not like me... and despite your quest to spar on here.. i just openly and honestly made my point.. i am not desiring any further continuation of debate with you on here...

If it helps your ego or your confidence level..or quite simply the need to dominate this space??? YOU WIN... I am done posting on here...

I truly, sincerely have supported and believed in Keith, in Jen, in the Dinner with Doyle promo (and I have continued and will continue to support it)... I am sorry it failed on their behalf, I admire your attempts to revive it... I am sorry if I insulted you or if you felt disrespect on any of my previous threads... quite simply...I AM SORRY... I am done talking about this..but your prior thread seemed to "need" (almost "challenge") some reply from me...

So?? let me be the bigger person and say I am sorry... and I wish you much success with your future "words of wisdom" to the folk on NDB... and now I am done talking about this... best of luck at the tables mug
