Default ?s about the bbj at ap

I started in May this year at ap after a long break from online play. Been grinding micros slowly losing but with ypc leaderboard paying out by raked hands race has kept me slowly moving up. Points go by raked hands played and not by how much in actual rake so the cheap micros actually give you and edge. Finally built up enough to play .25/.5 nl at the bbj tables and am curious of how the jackpot works.

Four of a kind or better 8s or higher loss = win bad beat jackpot right?
Noticed it also pays out a piece to everyone on the bad beat jackpot tables?
Does it have to hit on your stakes level and game type or does it matter?

Appreciate the help

I got $47 a few weeks back when the BBJ was hit... just cuz I was playing the same game/stacks at "another" table when it was hit

YPC biggest scam ever, ya you get 50 bux but if u ever start seriously playin on the site u have 0 chance of ever getting rake back from that site so FT i did it yrs ago and this yr and last yr and paid $1700 in rake which if i had the 33% rakeback there i would have gotten back about 600 instead i only got 200 because one of the months i got on the ypc rake leaderboards but i was lucky to do that and to try and stay on that leaderboard i played alot thru a losing streak where i went on tilt and blew 900. Also this was from a deposit after i lost the $50 from ypc so becuz of them instead of an extra 600 i ended up down all that money so anyone thinking of starting out with YPC i would reccomend staying away even if theres only a slim chance u start playing a lot on the site just saying that $50 sounds free and clear but everyone knows nothing in life is free

UIIIU I understand what I'm losing in rakeback compaired to ypc. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending ypc at all but as of right now the leader board race at the lower stakes I'm currently playing at ypc is paying more than what rakewill will.

As I improve my game and get more into playing .25/.5 tables on a more consistent basis then rake back will be a much better deal. I took a long break from poker and have a lot to catch up on. If its on someone elses dime then what am I missing out on.

Also UIIIU the race for ap/ub is different than ft. It runs off how many raked hands you play and not by how many points you earn like at ft. Which means someone playing at 5 10 dollar stakes at ftp earn 1 point for every dollar wagered right. Someone playing .05/.1 doesn't have a shot in hell. At Ap its by raked hands. Doesn't matter if its .02/.04 or 2/4 1 raked hand counts the same.

So far I've made the leader board in every month I've played with ease.
