Default Boost America's Economy with Legal Online Poker

@ change.gov, you can now vote on and comment a suggestion about letting online poker players in the US play legally and without fear of prosecution.

The site was set up by Obama's transition team and is designed to allow citizens to submit and promote suggestions about what issues the President-elect needs to tackle during his term, Pajich points out.

Poker and the online gaming sector as a whole is a multi-billion dollar industry, even though the current administration has made it difficult to join Internet poker rooms via credit card transactions.
Obama himself is a poker player.

honestly legal or not i really dont care but as for convincing ppl poker is a game skill could be debated now long term everyone knows its a knowledge and skill and some luck, but if ur just sitting down for a quick game or 2 u could easily walk away down even if u r a more skilled player who put his chips in with the better chance to win and lets face it the ppl who are ruling on this are most likely not poker junkies like a lot of us are.

The voting in this particular poll has ended, I'm pretty sure. Poker came in at about 11th in the issues, not bad since it's not considered as mainstream as things that finished ahead of it. Hopefully more people vote the next time something like this comes up.

Default Skill

yes it is a game of knowledge and skill and little bit of luck, but in the past year I have played against so many that has made it into a game of chance. As more people get into online poker they think by going all in every hand is how it's played. I have had to play like them if there happens to be 2 or more at a table just hoping to survive. If it's just one I will wait until someone or myself has a hand to put them out.

How the hell will this help the american economy? By flushing out more money from the regular beginner citizen to either the pro or the rich casino owners?

<g>...Seriously.
