Staking opportunity

This is basically a c/p message.

Firstly, I am aware that the people at NDB are not responsible for any losses I may incur.

Secondly, I owe UIIIU $10 and the stake WILL NOT go out until that is settled. It will be settled as soon as Stars unfreezes my account. It's just not right to stake someone if you owe money.

I originally offered this on SP. I've decided to take more than one 'horse' and use this to try and spark in depth poker discussion here as well.


Now to the meat. The stake.

Details:
-$150 Starting Bankroll
-60/40 cut (my favor)
-Stake will run anywhere from 1 week to 1 month
-Stakeback (means if you double the bankroll, you send me back the initial investment to hold in reserve)
-No Makeup (Means you don't have to pay back what you lose)

Rules:
-You will follow my bankroll management strategy. You may never buy into a tourney that is more than 5% of the total bankroll. For example, if you have $100 left, you may play anything $5 or under, NOT $5.25, or $5.50, specifically 5%.

-No cash games. MTTs and SNGs only
-No turbo events
-Must post "bust hands" in the Poker sub forums for discussion.
-Must email me tournament histories (I can show you how to do this if you don't know)
-Must stay in constant contact with both me and Daytona

Failure to follow rules will result in immediate closure.

Incentives:

On top of your 40% cut of the profits, you'll also be entered into a "race to $1,000" against Daytona. I'll be staking both you and Daytona, and I'll reward the first to $1,000 by increasing their cut to 50/50 and also buying you into the Sunday Million free and clear. There is no penalty if you are not the first to $1,000, it's just an incentive.

Time Line:
Ideally I'd like this to run for a month, to decrease variance. As it is a contest between you and Daytona I'd like to give you each time to play to the best of your ability. I do, however, reserve the right to close this stake at any time if I feel you are squandering my money.

I will not close the stake because you run bad, or get unlucky, pretty much the only way the stake will end early is if you buy into something you shouldn't, or you go broke.

The stake will go out September 1st.

Our Goals:

Daytona and I have several goals. First and foremost is to make money, period. Secondly we'd like to use this competition to generate new flow into the dying NLHE/Poker Q&A sections of SP, and to renew interest in poker discussion at NDB, this is why you have to post bust hands there.

-Special consideration will be given to +ROI players
-Special consideration will be given to high volume posters

this is really cool to offer something like this steele I would apply but cant really afford to take a hit on my return since already grinding the low limits and its tedious enough right now with that said there are some real good players here that could definitely make some money given the oportunity as long as they follow the BM rules set down

na really cant do it got school starting on the 1st and poker will prolly take a back seat for a while but the competition with Daytona does seem like a fun little challenge

this is an interesting concept -- i might be interested in tring this you,ve obviously put alot of time into setting up the format and a good overall picture of the outline for play!! i,d be interested n hearing back from you!
