I'm Just Going To Vent

I love playing NDB games and with the NDB family. I will keep playing them.
BUT I'M SO TIRED OF SORE LOSERS I WANT TO BITCH SLAP THEM.
Not only do they berate, call names, and just plain WHINE when they
lose & are still in the game, but they come back as observer and keep
on ranting. Then they go on the forum in CHATBOX and accuse us of
colluding and cheating. We've all been on the losing end of bad beats
and suckouts, this is poker. And vice versa. I've certainly had my
share of both. I never call anyone names, good thing you can't hear
me because I vent at home, I just skulk away like the big girl I am.
Doesn't mean I'm happy about it, but it's not going to change the
outcome by acting like an asshole. I busted out once, an asshole typed
in "Come back when you learn how to play" Now, was that nice or even
necessary?

Listen, we all play poker to win. But one of the nice things about NDB
is how wonderful MOST of the people on this forum are. And it's not as
if we're playing these games with huge buy-ins. We're here because
NDB gives us great games with the caliber of players that I truly believe
improves my game. The best part of NDB is the feeling of FAMILY & LOVE
we have for each other. Anyone who doesn't want that in their life
FEEL FREE TO TAKE A HIKE & DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE
ASS ON THE WAY OUT.

Jenn, I want to thank you for all your hard work. I know this isn't your
main job, but it certainly takes up a huge part of your leisure time.
Just know I love you and the friendship we have, I'm so glad I joined
NDB. You have my full support & loyalty.

I know what you mean Debby..It's not something you expect in a Forum game.

My activity in the games has slowed down, got tired of being called a donk.

Just take it for what it is I admit I've been an asshole in the past but I've never really meant anything bad banter is just part of the game.

I too have been an asshole at times. But it is something I have worked hard to improve. I did call cyclops a fckin donk in the OFC game yesterday though so I guess I still have a ways to go. I try to be good in forum games as a rule.
I have to admit I have had my chat shut down on a couple sites and have recieved a couple warnings from poker stars.

When I am playing live I will say things to get some people upset on purpose. I have a few regulars that I know a couple words will piss them off and take them off their game. I think if they make that exploitation possible I would be silly not to try to take advantage. I am not Mike M or Tony G but I will throw barbs if given the oppurtunity.

Online I try not to be too bad because I hate the people that get tough once they are online. I will call someone a donk on my way out though if I am possed. Right or wrong thats just me. I have had a big mouth my whole life and at 44 that probably isn't changing any time soon.

I feel a good trait for a poker player is a thick skin. I have had heated discussions at the table with people I consider good friend but at the table while we are in a hand they are just another player. Same as in hockey I have fought and beat several of my good friends(1 of them I beat 4 times) and it has never affected our off ice relationship.

I think most of the time people lash out at the table I don't believe it is personal so I think it is best to just move on and play as best as you can with the big mouths chips.

I've made similar posts on many other forums but here is a recap. Debby, I understand what you are saying - there is no place for personal insults in a forum like NDB. To those who want to make comments, criticism etc. about how I play - please do so. If you are pointing out a mistake I made it only helps me play better. If you make a valid criticism you teach me - if it is not valid, then you reveal more about your game than I could learn from watching you play dozens of hands.

The most I will do is say NB, NH and on rare occasions - NP acknowledging an exceptional play.


By the way guys, there is a direct correlation between penis size and readiness to pick on women - the smaller the gun the quicker to shoot off the mouth. So if you want to be known as a wee laddie with self esteem issues keep being to use Debby's word - assholes.

LMFAOROFL. Yea, I can relate, I probably shouldnt have ax murdered that couple in the park yesterday but I dont do that as a general rule and otherwise am just a normal guy. Well, there are the warrents out for my arrest but I dont like to get out much anyway. That's why I like online poker -because how else can I meet nice people now - shuffle up and deal!

Bob you have known me for a long time and you know I have a thick head, I expect to get called lots worse in the poker world and I have ... I have called other people donks and fish, I dont resort to worse but I NEVER call forum members that

Personally, I rarely care. Life is way to precious to worry about what someone types.

However, I have seen some instances that deserve banishment from the forum and or the site.

As i posted on another thread , I have never (as far as I can remember) been slagged off in one of these forum games...must be cuss i'm so good....lol....
