Default More on Game Chat

Not sure if you ever considered this but some players quit the forum games because they feel they don't receive enough love from their fellow forum members and moderators.

Well, I know I haven't thought about it very much. The worst forum chat I have seen is like church conversation compared to what I've been called and seen in the wild games out side of the forums. I know what you are saying, and some control is necessary, but cmon this is poker after all and not bridge. Plus it is online so it is easy to lash out at that icon on the monitor and not have to worry about a hand coming back out at you and slapping you up side your head like you probably deserve. Not really you or me but those other ones.

LMAO...They quit forum games to go find love where? I think we have plenty of chat at our games and there is always lots of love being handed out at the forum. I'm not sure the context of this post. Are you saying there is too much bad chat ..or just not enough good chat?

I've never seen any insulting chat at these games....which u cannot say about standard non-forum games.

It can be a bit quiet sometimes , but I don't say much either unless someone starts talking to me.

Seems to me like it comes in waves. It'll be real quiet at a table and then someone starts chatting or telling a joke. There will be conversation for about 10 or 15 minutes then silence settles in again.

Also, the closer to the end the most terse and blunt the conversation gets.

Then somebody busts out, does their hissyfit routine to wake us all up, then back to silence again.

One nice thing is there is much more polite expressions of frustration than in 'regular' tourneys.

See you at the tables,

pokerPadre

Love? You mean in addition to good games, great prizes, you can get love from Jenn and the mods. I've been a member going back to the old forum and this is the first I heard about love ( free I hope0. Jennifer - you've been holding out. Well it's Christmas so I forgive you. Who would have thought "love" was available on a poker forum - wonders never cease.

The one thing I enjoy about losing in the public games is cussing out the donks that play garbage that beats my premium hands, but I restrain myself in the forum games. Mostly, because there aren't any donks in our games
