well any of you aware of the plant that has been growing in popularity over the past 5 or 6 yrs some states have banned it but it is legal in most atleast right now it is. Altho after this incident with miley cyrus ripping bong hits of the stuff WTF and making a video jesus why cant ya just go do some coke like every other teenage star apparently trying to change their image? http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/heal...-sales-soaring it will be almost indefinitely be banned across the U.S. without any consideration and testing by the FDA.

Now why would this make me upset? well first off I see almost no practical recreational use of the drug, effects are very uncomfortable and the majority of ppl I know who have used it have done it once and will never do it again thats how bad it was for them. In all these instances i would say it was done in a recreational setting around friends which is simply not what this drug is about and almost always ends in a bad experience or atleast an overwhelming one. But the single reason it upsets me is because of its ability to let you go pretty much inside yourself and allows you to look at things through a perspective that you will never be able to get to without the plant. It really opens up your eyes to things you never really think about and sort of take for granted. In one experience I was focused on the act of breathing and how mechanical it is and actually sensed a sort of adaptation that made me feel like given other circumstances our bodies chemistry could change to accomodate other molecules besides o2.

Now this was over a year ago and honestly I can not even put it to words the experience without completely oversimplyfying it. Some say ohh well its just a hallucination but the fact of the matter is our brains were developed or have evolved with these receptor sites that allow us to see the world as we know it without everything being jumbled up and inhibiting these certain receptors just soo happen to allow you to see things in a different light and if you think about it what if these receptors were inhibited our entire lifes reality as you know it would be different. Ok well now we are starting to get into matrix shit which im confident in saying was the result of some hallucinogenic experience. But anyways with this said its still something I only do about once a yr because it really is uncomfortable but the profound insight that comes out of it I think is worth it. But with kids abusing it and just messing around with it to say they did it would shame the shamans who pioneered this plants power.

Ill also mention DMT in this thread. Alot of ppl compare the two but I would say they are two different breeds. DMT is considered an illegal drug in the U.S. even know it is produced in our brains during deep sleep and near death experiences. No one really knows why that is but alot of ppl speculate it actually being correlated with the human spirit. Also it has been reported that some tribes actually use it in a tea called Ayahuasca which is used to heal the body. well thats all i got google it if you want more internet is full of stories but i will say this is the single most interesting drug on the planet and how they can outlaw something that occurs in the brain has me confused. Other drugs mimic molecules we produce in our brain but none are what our brains actually produce and no other drug causes an experience with extra terrestrial beings which have been reported by many ppl while using DMT

Well I kind of just went on a drug rant I just think people should be able to have these profound experiences which can potentially change your outlook on life altho some would say this is a bad thing but I think people should have a choice.
