Default Tim needs prayers

My husband, Tim, has some major blockages in his legs. We finally found a doctor who thinks he can help him, so tomorrow morning Tim is having catheterization where the doctor hopes to clean out the plaque without placing a stent. Stenting is a last resort. This doctor is one of the few who perform this procedure, so we're very hopeful it will work. Right now Tim can only walk about 2 or 3 blocks before having to stop from cramping and weakness. Yesterday the nurse told us the doctor did a procedure on a man with 90% blockages, and a month later he's walking 3 miles a day. Boy, that really sounded good to us.

Please put Tim in your prayers for a successful cleaning of his arteries and a smooth and easy recovery. We have to be at the hospital at 7 am for a 9 am procedure. It's going to be a very long day for me tomorrow. Won't know until after surgery whether he can come home or have to stay overnight, and I won't have my computer to give an update. I'm a little nervous.

My positive thoughts will be with Tim and you Debby...
I'm sure everything will go great with the procedure.

Talking Good news

Tim came thru with flying colors. The doctor was able to break up the blockage in Tim's right leg and had to put a stent in. His left leg has a blockage but that's another time. With the blood flowing again, Tim should see a marked improvement when he walks. They sent me home after I had a chance to see for myself Tim was okay, but I'm waiting for the call that I can pick him up. His blood count has to show that his blood is clotting before they pull the sheath & then he has six hours after that flat on his back. He just called, he's getting antsy and the sheaths haven't been removed, and he's hungry after not eating for almost 24 hours now. So it's 11 pm at the earliest. If the numbers aren't okay, Tim said he'll probably stay the nite.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. I'm grateful for my extended family and appreciate your friendship.
