Rio works if you're going to spend a lot of time playing/watching WSOP. Flamingo is much more convenient for spending time on the strip. Taxi's are not cheap so I suggest you decide where you're going to spend most of your time and stay within walking distance. I don't know about the Rio, but Flamingo is very nice and has a nice pool area. Rio is off the strip by a couple blocks, but centrally located on Flamingo Road. Rio is about 30% more expensive than Flamingo, both saying no resort fees, which can add 25% to your bill. I suggest signing up online for a Total Rewards card which might give you a discounted rate, a savings of maybe 20% off total stay.

I think I have finally made another decision regarding the trip.. I think I will stay at the Flamingo. The central location sold me.. Pool looks really nice. I had a buddy staythere last year and he loved it. They are comping him room and food at Harrahs this year so he had to move.

I guess my next decision should be when to go..somewhere between june 23 and July 6 for 7 or 8 days is wat I have it narrowed down to being there for the OFC live for sure.

so after reading about los vegas having more alcohol related driving deaths then any where else and deciding I will probably be drunk every day I have decided to budget for taxi's instead of being another drunk driver on da roads.

Gonna start browsing show reviewsand make some plans for some quality entertainment.. I will check on menapause..any idea what the best circ show going on is?
