My prayers and thoughts are with Cindy's family! A terrible loss and tragedy.
She livened up the tables

I've had the pleasure of playing in two leagues with Cindy and many hours of chatting and playing FB games. Cindy loved the game Farmtown and got me going on it for a while. We would plant each others crops and chat about poker while doing our chores.

Cindy was one of the kindest persons I ever known. She was always concerned about you and never about herself. Once, I had a stomach ache and she went on and on about Vernors Ginger soda. She told me that it helps with stomach aches but it was only available in a few locations. With her description, I went to the local supermarket and was lucky enough to find it. She was right, it did help settle my stomach ache and tasted great to boot!

Around this time last year she asked me for my address. Even though we'd never met in real life, I felt that I knew her well enough to give it to her. To my surprise I received a big box of cookies, candies, and other goodies last X-mas. She even sent my dog Tripper a toy in the package.

This was just the type of person she was. I am amazed at how much I can miss someone I'd never met in real life. Read her Face book page and you can see that I'm not the only one she touched in this way.

When I heard about this Thursday I was shocked. I had been playing with her the night before hours before her death. It’s not often that I don't feel like playing poker. I shoved and left. It just shows you how precious and short our lives are.

She demonstrated energy and love for her comrades at the tables and adopted all she played with as family.

I wish her family my condolences and I for one will miss her presence at the tables.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know I haven't posted or played with you guys for awhile due to circumstances beyond my control, but I do remember Lucy.
My condolences to her family.

Sorry I missed hearing about this until today when I read this post. I haven't been playing many games lately or visiting forums as I used too. I have been busy with work and taking time to do other things. I do remember Lucy from the games I have played and wow, 62 is not old. It kind of makes you reflect on how short life really is and why we need to make the most out of the time we have.

My prayers are with her family and she will be missed in the NDB games.

All these heartfelt posts say more then the words actually can. It is painfully obvious that Lucy was loved by many. I find it hard to believe. My thoughts are with her family.
