It is so beneficial that if you are a larger stack near the bubble that you take advantage of your good fortune and timing. You should put pressure on the smaller stacks especially if the blinds and antes are large. This is where you can pick up the most uncontested pots in the whole tournament. It is hard to put a chunk of your chips in with Q high for some people, but just think of it from the other perspective of the shortstack. You would hate to call off your tourney life with something worse. This works especially well against players that have grinded to the bubble not playing many hands. This aggressive play will be awarded by have one of the bigger stacks at the final table giving you a better chance of taking down the tourney.
