Default How do You?

How do you manage your energy and enthusiasm as you grow tired in a tourney that has run way longer than you anticipate?

When you have to dounle check your pair of eights and find that they are really a 6 and a 8. Obviously, the brain and body are not working optimally.

thats a good question kard, I am a young guy so for me the later the tourny goes the more adrenaline gets pumping and i tend to be wide awake, but lately i just havent had the mental focus to grind through the first 3-4 hrs in the big mtts. But whenever im tired i make sure i get up and walk around for breaks just to get the blood flowing and that tends to help a little bit

I usually play them in sets. If I'm planning on playing a large-field MTT I'll reg. for 4-6 mtt's and of course only do so if I'm feeling motivated & willing to make the time committment.
Late stage play is easy for me to stay focused as there's lots of stuff to be watching/calculating, etc. It's my favourite part of the tourney by far.

I can see now that I was too vague.

I am getting after the way to keep the killer edge the need to win where nothing else matters.

Not merely staying awake and playing but driving to win.

A way to dodge bullets might also help.
