Default Showing Bluffs to adjust table image

As a general rule I shy away from showing cards. Perhaps showing a monster now and again will keep that tight image to allow you to bluff later. But, it occurs to me that this might not be the image I want to portray. In fact I was reading "Caro's Most Profitable Hold 'em Advice" and he says that "An image that allows extra bluffs isn't usually as profitable as one that lures extra calls." With this in mind, showing an occasional bluff would seem to be right thing to do. It's an interesting concept that I think could have merit. Showing bluffs has the added benefit of putting people on tilt sometimes.

What's your take on this?

i would say it all depends on the style of poker you are using if your playin tight make sure to show a few bluffs and the opposite when your playing like a maniac.
