Folding AA first time - not a virgin anymore

Well, I finally found a spot I ws comfortable folding AA - I hope that means I am progressing as a player. I can not remember ever folding AA before since my basic nature is an optimist (as I assume most amateurs are). Reviewing it below my mistake is probably not betting enough preflop to chase away the Q-10 or maybe not - be interested in what others feel about the preflop bet. I have busted out before betting too much preflop and then feeling pot committed in a losing battle so I dont know which is best. We were already ITM here and by not busting out with the losing AA I did stick around long enough to move up another level so as it played folding was probably correct. I only remember folding KK once before because it was preflop and there were multiple allins in front of me so I assumed someone with AA and I ended up regretting it when the K came out on the flop. Please comment on my play here (negative or positive) and also when do you fold AA and KK or do you always continue with them to the end?
