well i not only lost i pretty much got embarassed on the two hands that lead to my loss, well i guess thats what happens when u take a long break from tournies. I honestly think i forget how to play them it seems im either failing to build any sort of stack early playing way too tight in the tourny or im just picking terrible spots to put my money in. Just been dead money in the last few tournies ive played and that really pisses me off

I think you are being too hard on yourself. You need to play in a bunch of them and then look at how many you are cashing in or won before judging. I do not know what a good percentage is considered vs a bad percenatge but I am pretty sure the "good" pros only cash in or win a small percentage of total entered so they only stay profitable by making that up in volume entered. It would be very helpful to hear from someone who actually knows what those numbers/percentages are. It probably also makes sense to only compare tourny success in tournies of similar sized fields to keep the comparsisons apples to apples. Maybe you should try a number of sit-n-go single table tournies and if you cash in or win a decent number of those that will give you more confidence in the bigger multi table high field tournies that you are undoubtedly going to cash or win in a smaller percentage.
