Bad beats are not just on line

I always hear people whinning about bad beats at certain sites or on-line in general. Well on Monday night I was in a $30 40 person live tourney at the local card room and on the table I was playing on I witnessed an amazing number of bad beats. In just under 2 hrs. I witnessed 1 girl beat KK with 99 after getting all her money in post flop the turn brought her a 9.. an hr later she was all in after an 8 high flop with JJ against KK and the river was a J ..5%..sick huh. I was actually surprised at the amount of bad beats I was witness to in under 2 hrs. It had been a while since I had played live.. and I think sometimes we assume the bad beats are just an online thing but I think you just see so many hands online that you see more od these nasty beats.
