It is standard enough that I can say I have been there done that. But you never get used to it! It just doesn't seem right you struggle to make a great hand only to find out they made a better hand - usually its the same bloody card. That is when you really feel the universe is conspiring against you. You cant get away from it - your just doomed to lose it all on those hands. Hopefully you will be on the quad side next time - just not against me please!

standard im not sure if i would say that it does happen but ive gone well over 30k hands without it happening. so yes it happens but its definitely not standard. Im not talking boat beat by quads that happens alot but this exact scenario when you have the second nuts with only 1 pr on the board
