Another BBJP near miss!

BBJP was upto $428k when I got this hand on a 25/50 jackpot table. Flopped quad 10's on flop and when the 2nd Q came on the turn I was so wishing to lose to pocket Q's! The betting could have been for pocket Q's with his 5x preflop raise but alas it was not to be - he only had AQ - DANGIT! Still a nice pot but oh what could have been...and I probably now wont see another hand this close for a long,long time...

(I wont complain too much - if a 3rd Q would have came on board I would have lost both the pot and not qualified for the BBJP since he would not have used two hole cards! )

if another Q came it would have counted since his A would have played as a kicker

I dont think the A plays in that scenario - he would have quad Q's (1 in his hand and 3 on the board). I don't have any Q so all I have in that case is the 2nd best quad 10's and a story with a really sad ending.

we went over this before when i was thinking the same thing on N2ks hand for some reason but it definitely would have counted because the cards u r playing would be qqq on the board and the AQ in your hand since every poker hand consists of 5 cards (and thats his best possible combo) barring tri card poker but thats really not poker. Man tho its hands like these that make you depressed for weeks

Ok, I stand corrected. Only if he has Q9 or less then it does not count towards BBJP since then his 9 or less kicker would not be better then the remaining 10's on board and would not play. Thanks.
