Should railbirds be flushed off all systems?

I don't think so. I like to have friends rail a big tourney or I will be there for encouragement. There are some problems with yapping off and begging for money but it has never really bothered me. Where can you go online without some 90 lb. geek yappin off behind the ghost of the internet. I like being able o back friends in big tourneys and I aqppreciate support when I am in a big tourney as well. S o I hpope we don't lose the option of railbirding friends games.

The other night I watched a railbirdie put a player on tilt with the kind of talk that would have gotten him shot in a game in the hood.

I see this more and more and concluded if your not playing you dont belong at the table.

if railbirds are such an issue for you why dont you block the chat so that you can only see the chat of pllayers at the table or maybe even block all chats then you don't have to deal with anyone.

I dont think railbirds should be allowed to talk. It disrupts the game. I dont need to here some one go off on another player while playing.

I agree with Shag depending on the circumstance. If they are cheering you on or talking to players they know then there is no problem. I also agree you can turn your chat observer off.

yeah there are parts of the observer chat that are nice...a feature that would be nice is if they allowed us to click on peoples name right in the chat log to just block that one person and not block all observers...they should make that an option

If the chat bother you shut it off. Some sites allow you to disable observe chat only and keep the rest.

added: On FT you can hit the player in the chat box then check player notes and there you can mute there chat.

Most people would be nice railing in general. As someone also stated, you can always turn chat off. Depending on the site, you can also call a mod.

I could care less about the noise and just ignore it when I am not amused. I just felt bad for the player who was compromised.

Having some support from the rail is a positive.......the noise and insults I can view much better on the comedy channel.
