Default really losing my cool

man i have in the last 2 weeks about 15 finishes between 20-80 ppl left in tournies with 1000+ just complete waste of my time fcking 4 hrs for 10 bux man why do they even bother paying out anything but the final table, like a slap in the face maybe poker has changed and i just cant hack it anymore thats really the only logical explanation, ill try to adjust but it just seems i run soo good early and as the later stages come i go ice cold and cant even get half decent cards to try and take blinds. overall very upsetting i would go back to cash games but just like tournies ive been getting killed losing session after session against the shittiest players i can find just frustrating i waste my time with this shit

to make matters worse today i was playin a satty to the big brawl on sunday which is a $240 buy in and wouldnt ya know it i make the final table and bust out 8th ya right but NO! it only paid top 7

if anyone knows a good book that focuses on late tourney play plzzzzzzzzzzzzz let me know

something new too because poker seems to be alwayss changing atleast it seems that way to me

Agree with both posts, the big GTD tourneys on FT & Stars in the hope of a big payday are crap. Both sites spread the money amongst too many players. I watched game on PS the other day and after 6hrs the 1st player made the cash for a $4 profit. The only good thing about the big 2 are the number of fish available at the cash tables, try 25c-50c RAZZ on FT, easy peasy. If you want to go for the mtt big score, try Cake, most tournies ( even rebuys ) finish around the 4 1/2hr mark and the GTD mark is rarely reached when you get a buyin over $5. As for reading books, waste of time for online poker, books are theory and don't take into account the couldn't give a crap all in with atc chasin assholes who you'd like to stab with a cucmber up the rear end players that make up the multitude of online players.

I do agree cash games have more potential for consistent winnings but i simply cant seem to get into any sort of groove its always i win one session then i lose the next then repeat, and cant really seem to get anywhere and what makes it even more frustrating is full tilt wont give me rakeback. Now with tournies over the 1100+ games it comes out to about $1.50 per tourny which is pathetic, but no matter how good you are playing $5 tournies on average your not gonna see much higher than $3 per tourny in the long run. So i cant argue your logic n2k but $1.50 is still better than breaking even. If you care to throw some tips my way i greatly consider the advice and greatly appreciate it

You can get some free training on cardrunners for the ftps you earn. Training videos have helped out my game a bit and I would advise getting a hud.
