How do people who play this bad get this lucky

Interesting hand. I agree 8,3 is a very marginal calling hand even with slightly better than 2 to 1 calling odds. Unfortunately, the page does not show the size of the other player's stack. If he was risking most of his stack it is a really questionable play; however, if he had a monster stack given your shoving range it is a reasonable play. Unless you have a PP over 77s or over he is either a 3 to 2 underdog or slightly worst to most holdings. If his stack is 8+ times your holding, this is an instant call. Not because he expects to win, but it will diminish attempts to steal his BB without a premium hands in the future.

He had me covered by 100K if that everyone was shallow I had the 3rd biggest stack. I wound up cashing for like $170 when the winner got a lil over 1K. He has to know with being 3rd stack I'm not pushing a super wide range and every hand I'm going to play on a 12 bb stack will be a shove. It's the worst call of a shove I've ever seen and doubt will ever see worst.

Agree with a 100k and you the third stack eh should be avoiding high risk situations and let the smaller stacks fight it out.

Absurd raise sizing leads to the call which leads to a 4.5 hour run to a 9th place bad beat.

This was in the 15K does he possibly think I'm folding when 3b on a 26 bb stack total disgrace bad play rewarded and it makes me sick. Of course after that I took that beat 5 more bad beats came in the next 15 mins b/c my morale was completely shot.
