Trap worked then blew up

UGGGH! Things were moving along well in this tourny and if I win this pot Im chip leader. We are just past the mid point and the below hand develops. I thought I had trapped my opponent good hitting my set of 5's on the flop and only min betting with it and getting him to put all of his money in. He is a 70/30 dog going into the turn and almost 80/20 dog going into the river but rivers a str8 card to crush me and leave me severely short stacked instead of new chip leader. It did not help my mood to hear him say hitting his str8 on the river was no luckier then me hitting my set on the flop so we both sucked out was his statement! - I thought a simple "Im sorry you had me" would have been more appropriate since he got all his money in bad...what do you think?

You got all in chips in on the flop, where you should of done and yes you will win this 2/3 times or 70/30 % of times.

This is the 1/2 times that you lose. I know it sucks but you should be proud you played it pefectly and got your chips in correctly and get used to the cerus river.

Thanks. The loosing doesn't bother me so much, I know it's going to happen, but this guy bragged about his pokerstars stats and then makes that bonehead comment. Oh well, hopefully I will face him again with a made set when he puts in all his chips on a draw at the midpoint of a tourny and not shortstacked.
