Angry ewallet xpress

This was just posted by Fonzi on Holdem Poker Chat. Makes me sick to my stomach, kept all my excess poker money on hold in ewallet xpress. I worked so hard to build a bankroll & now I may be getting a bad beat without playing like the donkey I am

eWalletXpress Shut Down by US Authorites
Popular online gambling processor eWalletXpress has been shut down by US authorities for illegal activity. eWalletXpress which is part of the Navaho network started out as a processor for internet porn sites but quickly grew once they began accepting gambling transactions. Despite being headquartered in the US, they operated for a couple of years without much of a hassle. That all changed when they got served with a warrant to freeze their funds.

eWalletXpress sent out an email to it's merchants this morning which read, “We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a federal warrant issued to seize our funds…..”

This leaves a huge hole in an online gambling industry that is still feeling the affects of losing other US processors like Neteller and Paypal. No Online Poker Sites or online casinos are currently offering eWalletXpress as an option.

As of this writing there is no answer for the question on everyone's mind, "What will happen to my money". We hope that like Neteller funds will be delivered to their owners, but we can't say for sure. We'll stay on top of this story as it develops and will do our best to provide you with the answers you need.

THis sucks - I hope you get your money back quickly and keep bugging them as typically the squeaky wheels get paid first in things like this and the money may run out before it gets to the passive quiet ones waiting on the banks to do the "right thing". I use "usemywallet" for the poker sites and still have PayPal for ebay. I have had good success with them but I do not trust any of them 100%. Because of that I just use them for transfers only. I created a seperate checking account at my main bank just for these transfers so they do not have access to my main accounts and I do not keep any significant money in the seperate transfer account or in usemywallets online account except for the brief period it is needed for whatever transfers when I will load them up and then empty them right away. Currently I have under a dollar in each.

This is not good news. I'm just thankful that I cashed out most of my funds and only have $48.67 being held on EwalletXpress. I don't want to lose it and hope they are able to return it to the owners. Who knows, the US government may seize the funds and use it to fund Obama Care.

Debby do I have this correct- ewallet was allowed to operate when it served to allow the purchase of material that debases women and children, but not for online gambling?

So if the activity is illegal and requires the suppression and degradation of people it is okay, but if it is legal (brick and mortar), and requires free choice to participate but cuts down on the profit margins of a select few every effort is made to squash it. I guess it's just a different interpretation of the concept of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Both Cake & Absolute Poker now have a UseMyWallet signup
option which was not available before. I guess the vultures
are circling ewallet xpress customers. Anyway, I just opened
a Quick Tender account. I'm a little scared to fund it with
over $400 sitting in limbo in ewallet xpress. Will Quick Tender
funds get frozen/seized, are they next in line to say "fuck you,
Debby" we're screwing you again and not gonna kiss you first????
I have to calm down, take a few days to think about it, and
maybe I'll even win some money & won't need to make any new
deposits. I really need a method of moving money from site to
site, which is why I'll probably put a nominal amount on QT and
make the requisite deposits on the sites so I can then withdraw
and deposit on the sites I use most. This still has me feeling
nauseous, makes me want to cry Thanks for letting me vent.

p.s. I can live with brothel regular, after all I'm here every day.

This is the kind of matter that the Justice Dept can really get get aggressive in coping with right along with the guy who told the TSA agents to not touch his junk.

Why bother with sealing off the border when its more fun looking at scans at the airport.
