Pitbull Poker Bonus Code and Review
Overview
Pitbull poker is a smaller than average site. Software is flash based, making getting started quick and easy as there is no downloading or installing needed. Just visit PitbullPoker.com and click “Play Poker”.
Software
As already mentioned, the software is flash based, but seems to have most features you need, you can play up to 4 tables, although the tables are “tabbed” in the same window rather than the tiled layout I prefer. Cashier is clearly laid out and shows your progress towards bonuses. No support for pokertracker, which may put off the more serious players.
Games
For the cash game players there are mainly small stakes no limit hold’em cash games running, and the games seem very soft with plenty of fishy players. A decent $10nl or $25nl player could do well here, I know I did while reviewing the site! For the tournament player there is a freeroll starting every hour, along with a selection of sit and go, and multi-table tournaments, again mainly low buy-in events up to $10+1 entry fee. I entered a few of the freerolls, and found the opposition again very soft.
Bonus
Bonuses seem plentiful on this site. I used the EASY10 bonus code, which gives you $10 free for signing up and a whopping 200% bonus on your first deposit. The bonus clears fairly quickly, requiring you to earn 100 comp points to release each $10 increment of bonus. Points can be earned in both cash games and tournaments.
Support
Support was very good, fast accurate replies to my emails, live support was also fast to respond and accurate in answering my query.
Banking
Depositing was painless, but make sure you give a correct phone number as they call to verify the account shortly after you make your first deposit. There are plenty of deposit options, I used Neteller.
Cashout
I’m still playing here, but will comment on this feature soon hopefully.
Conclusion
A great site for someone just starting out, the free money on signing up, along with the large deposit bonus, and soft games at the lower stakes make this an ideal site for a beginner to make a first deposit. However the lack of pokertracker support, and rather clunky multi-tabling system may put off the more serious player or aspiring online pro!
As such I’d highly recommend this site to a beginner or casual low stakes player looking to build a bankroll. Look out for my upcoming article, building a bankroll at Pitbull for some ideas on using this sites bonus system to the best effect!
