The $12 Million OSS and $6 Million Venom on Americas Cardroom are just a few weeks away!
Americas Cardroom (ACR) has been busy this year, constantly upping the ante in the poker
world. The US-facing poker site isn't quite done yet, either, as it's about to make poker more
exciting and with the upcoming Online Super Series (OSS). It will run November 20th through
December 15th and has 26 days of incredible poker action in store. $12 Million in guaranteed
cash is up for grabs, which means there is a lot of cash ready for the holidays!
ACR's OSS is designed to appeal to all players on any level – newcomers, pros and everyone in
between. The events offer a range of options, including NLH, PLO, and PLO8, in regular, turbo
and hyper-turbo formats.
There is usually just one $1-million GTD tournament in an OSS, but not this time. Since ACR likes
to push the envelope, it has included two and the first has a $540 buy-in and will start on
Sunday, December 8th at 3pm ET. The second, with its $215 buy-in and a massive 13 Day 1
options, will get rolling on November 20th. Those players who advance will return to the tables
on Sunday, December 15th at 3pm ET.
The $6 Million Venom will be the Featured Event of this OSS and will start on Wednesday,
November 27th. The $2,650 buy-in may not be accessible to many players, so ACR is making it
easy to get into the big game. To earn a seat, ACR has a number of Step Tournaments, Skip
Tournaments, Regular Satellites, Mega Satellites and Cyclones on the lineup.
If you're not familiar with how Cyclones work, think of a blitz tournament and a step
tournament rolled into one. Cyclones are a new type of event that launch on November 14th
and you first choose your beginning step – there are seven available and the first only costs
$0.25. After that, every time you earn 5,000 chips, you move up a step until you pass Step 7 and
earn your $2,650 Venom seat!
